Jewish Culture Festival Society was founded in 1995 in order to organize annual editions of the festival. Nowadays beside running the festival, our Society is responsible for the all year round activities in the Cheder, as well as for program for volunteers – The Machers. Festival office represents the Society in all its activities.
Founder of the festival and its director from the very first edition. For his work he has been awarded with numerous awards and medals in Poland and abroad, including Polonia Restituta medal from the President of the Republic of Poland, Irena Sendlerowa Award from the Taube Foundation as well as an award from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for promotion of Poland abroad.
In 2018, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel, as the only person from Poland, he was awarded with a honorary title of “The Friend of Israel” (Hebrew: Yakir Israel) and received by Rueven Rivlin, President of Isarel.
She graduated tourism at the Academy of Physical Education and Culture Management at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. She joined the festival in 1999 and is responsible for programming, production and logistic of the festival.
Graduated Polish Philology at the Jagiellonian University and Arts Management Training Initiative Scotland. Since 2005 he coordinates PR and fundraising activities, as well as production of the festival. He is also a media contact on behalf of the festival.
Journalist and producer of musical events, member of Transglobal World Music Chart, graduated management of culture and media as well as Eurasian studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Ula is programming and producing festival events.
Born in 1994, a graduate of Jewish studies and history at the Jagiellonian University. He started working with the festival as a volunteer in 2018, then he worked with us as one of the coordinators and since 2024 – coordinates all volunteer activities during the festival, but also year-round.

The Society presents i promotes contemporary Jewish culture from Israel and the entire Diaspora. By doing so, we aim to eliminate anti-Semitism and to create a friendly and welcoming environment for the growing Jewish community. To achieve these aims, the Society organizes annual Jewish Culture Festival, all year round programs at the Cheder as well as by developing and promoting ideas of voluntary work as a part of the program called The Machers.
The Society is a non-governmental and non-profit charity, registered in Poland.
